Players generally that free games and free DLC come with systems like Xbox One and PS4. However, Amazon/Twitch Prime is releasing two free games and free DLC for Watch Dogs 2 during the month of November.
Twitch Prime is essentially and extension of Amazon Prime. Twitch Prime includes ad-free viewing for its steaming service and other free stuff, not unlike what Xbox Live Gold and Playstation Plus owners get. The initial November giveaway includes the free indie game called Streamline. Players also receive a new Heartstone hero as will as new skins for Smite and Paladins.
According to Steam, Steamline is similar to a game of tag, except you are avoiding swinging stop signs.
Streamline is a frantically fun multiplayer action game with deep Twitch integration. As a Hunter, chase down and smack the Runners. As a Runner, compete for points and stay far away from the Hunter’s swinging stop sign.
The free games that Twitch Live players get are This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition, which is a survival horror and Punch Club, which is a boxing RPG.
The Watch Dogs 2 DLC includes a Twitch hoodie as well as an XP boost. Players also receive Pixel Art skin pack for characters, vehicles, weapons, and drones. The Guts, Grit and Liberty skin pack is for characters and vehicles.
It is unknown if this will also be available for consoles as it’s only available for PC at the moment.
The Watch Dogs 2 DLC will available from November 7 and December 12. It is unknown how long the games will be available.
Twitch Prime costs $11 per month or $100 per year. If you already have an Amazon Prime subscription, you already have access to the Twitch Prime benefits, which are similar to Amazon Prime’s two-day shipping. All you have to do is link both of your Amazon Prime and Twitch Prime accounts.
