New Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. Times Announced

If you missed out on the first round of the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A., you will get another opportunity as Bethesda has announced the next playable date. However, the next two rounds are still only available on the Xbox One. The truly open session starts on October 30, the date when everyone can access the B.E.T.A., PC and PlayStation 4 players included.

Bethesda has done something little differently when it comes to the beta. Usually, they are available throughout certain days, but Bethesda has taken a different approach. They want to get as many players at once playing so they can expose problems that they can fix before the launch date. Access to the Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. is available when you pre-order the game on your preferred platform. If there are any issues that some may have concerning whether progress will or won’t carry over or if you’ll have to start from scratch, rest assured. Bethesda has stated that progress will carry over to the game when it launches.

Fallout 76 is very different from other Fallout games. For one, it’s multiplayer-focused, intended for you to get in a group and explore the wasteland. It’s also the earliest in its time-period. It will have a map that’ll be the largest in any Fallout game, and every human that you will see in the game is another player; there are no NPCs. Another change is how the V.A.T.S. system works. Instead of pausing the action, the system will auto lock on a target and continue playing in real-time.

Fallout 76 is set to launch on November 14 for the Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC.
