New Christmas Themed DLC Out for Dead Rising 4

Dead Rising 4 has just joined the holiday spirit with its Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack. The update has more outfits for Frank West and zombies alike, as well as new melee weapons and a festive new motorcycle to ride.

In the video above, you see West dressed as jolly ole Saint Nick, but instead of bringing toys to the good boys and girls of the world, he’s bringing a world of punishment for zombies. The zombies have also changed. The zombies are dressed as multiple kinds of Christmas icons, like Santa’s elves, snowmen and gingerbread men. And instead of kids getting their picture taken with Santa, Santa is taking selfies with the zombies and snapping their necks afterwards.

One of Santa’s new toys is called Lights Out, which is a wooden baseball bat with spiky Christmas lights wrapped around it. His next new toy is called Candy Pain, which is what it sounds like. It is a sledgehammer with a handle that looks like a candy cane. Finally, Santa’s new motorcycle, which the trailer calls a “perfect sleigh ride” is called Santa’s Little Melter. The head of the motorcycle looks like Rudolph with Christmas light spiked antlers. You can see Santa ride Santa’s Little Melter through a horde of zombies. Santa’s Little Melter can also fire lasers from Rudolph’s shiny red nose.

The Stocking Stuff Holiday Pack comes with Dead Rising 4‘s $20 season pass. The DLC can also be purchased individually for $5.

Microsoft also announced that there will be a new difficulty story mode available in early 2017. “Enemies do more damage, Frank’s weapons break faster and food restores less health than before,” Microsoft said. More details will be announced in the New Year.

Other expansions coming in 2017 include Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf and Frank Rising, which is an 18-hole mini golf course and the story of Frank becoming infected while searching for the cure, respectively.
