Another contender is ready to throw their hat in the mix at E3 next month. Netflix, the widely popular video streaming service, will be holding a panel at this year’s E3 Coliseum. Netflix will now join the likes of Jack Black’s Jablinski Games and Infinity Ward, who will discuss this year’s new Call of Duty title, at the E3 Coliseum this year. The panel is titled “Bringing Your Favorite Shows To Life: Developing Netflix Originals Into Video Games,” and will be hosted by industry veteran Geoff Keighley. Currently, there is no announced date or time for the panel itself.

The panel was first announced via a playful exchange of tweets between the E3 and NX, Netflix’s sci-fi and fantasy focused Twitter account, about the possibility of the company attending the event. When the E3 account asked for a hint as to what fans could expect from the Netflix panel, the NX account responded stating that the upcoming Stranger Things 3: The Game, that was announced last year, will be there along with teasing that “there’s definitely more to come!”
With the title of “Bringing Your Favorite Shows To Life,” it’s probably safe to assume if the company does have new games to announce that they’ll be based on some of Netflix’s most popular IP as opposed to something new in the space. As such, fans could possibly see games based on new shows like The Dragon Prince and The Umbrella Academy to longtime favorites such as Black Mirror. It will be interesting to see if the company announces a new interactive experience coming to the streaming service similar to last year’s ‘Bandersnatch‘ episode of Black Mirror.
