The long-awaited sequel to one of the biggest fan followings has finally arrived. Neo: The World Ends With You launched for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 back in July, and has since gone on to be well received by reviewers and fans alike, including us who gave it an 8 out of 10. A little bit before this, it was revealed that the title would also make its way to the PC platform through the Epic Games Store, albeit without any official release date. Well, the wait for that has now ended as Square Enix has officially announced that Neo: The World Ends With You will launch on the Epic Games Store next week on September 28, just seven days away.
Despite being a PC release, there doesn’t appear to be any special bells and whistles with this one. Usually, when a console title comes to the PC platform, there are some cool features that PC players can take advantage of. However, this doesn’t appear to be the case here, and while you’ll still be able to mess around with the usual graphic settings, that looks like the extent of it. Regardless, the game is stunning visually and will be a beautiful site whether you’re using 4k monitors or not.
As we already mentioned, Neo: The World Ends With You is the long-awaited sequel to the 2007 Nintendo DS cult classic The World Ends With You. The latter has been ported to numerous platforms over the years, but a full-fledged sequel was what the fans were truly waiting for. 14 years later, Square Enix finally answered their call. Neo: The World Ends With You will officially launch for PC through the Epic Games Store next week on September 28. You can check out the official page here.
