A few new details about NBA 2K’s features for the Nintendo Switch have been revealed. According to US Gamer the Switch version of the game will be “feature complete and identical” to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions (Presumably). NBA 2K18 on the Switch will have all the game modes that the other versions will, this includes MyGM team-management, MyLeague, and MyCareer. Another interesting development is that the game will feature Amiibo support. Not much is known on how the game will go about this, but this may lead to the possibility of NBA 2K Amiibo figures being in the works.
FIFA 18 which is another big sports game has a version on the Nintendo Switch as well. However, this edition is missing the single player mode The Journey. So for the new console to have a full fledged version of NBA 2K18 is quite a big deal. This year the game is introducing a new feature called The Neighborhood, which will act as a social space for players. This new feature will also allow the fans to customize their player and earn skills for them as well. The Prelude for the game will be released on September the 8th. If this one is anything like last year’s it will allow those who want to get an early start on building their MyPlayer and a jump into their MyCareer the chance to do so. The full game will launch on September 15 for those who pre-order it. Everyone else will be able to pick it up four days later on September 19.
