My Time At Portia On Its Way To Consoles This Month

After its initial release in January of 2018, My Time at Portia is on its way to consoles this month. It has been very well received on the Steam Store and Epic Games store for over a year now, and the developers at Pathea Games are ready to take the next step of giving console players the chance to explore the town of Portia. With a similar feel to Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia sets itself apart with its art style and unique features. Below is just one example of the many activities and conversations that stretch out the detailed relationship system that is implemented in the game that allow players to forge friendships and more with the people of Portia.

My Time in Portia hands the reigns of a workshop that belonged to their Pa. This opportunity for a new start in this town gives the player the chance to craft, explore, fulfill commissions, grow crops, tend to animals, and get to know the people of Portia. However, it would be difficult to guess from the atmosphere that all of this takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. From the start, all the player will have at their disposal is their Pa’s workbench and handbook with useful tips on mining and crafting methods. With these items and a little bit of perseverance, the town will have a chance at being rebuilt from the ground up.

While attempting to discover the many secrets in and under Portia, regular in-game festivals and other activities will constantly be occurring. These will hone certain skills like cooking or introduce new mini-games to participate in with the townsfolk.

My Time at Portia will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch April 16. Those that pre-order the console version will be received a host of in-game gifts like outfits and furniture to start a home.
