MVX: London is an FPS game made by World Makers and is one of the titles participating in the October 2026 Steam Next Fest. The main premise of the game is that a Flux Incident has changed the world, causing ordinary Londoners to develop special abilities. The flux effected everyone from bus drivers to students to surgeons without rhyme or reason.
Players are amongst one of those who have developed these special powers and now they must answer the call to save London. Creatures fill the streets, swarming roadways and they are not afraid to attack the player on sight. MVX, a Crown agency, was made in response to the Flux Incident.
The main premise of the game is that players have applied to join the fight and work with MVX. The agency has a variety of impossible weapons and deep pockets. Players can choose to answer the call solo or with up to a 4-player squad.
Gameplay features a one-to-one London replication, an open world filled with multiple squads, creatures to shoot, and civilians to protect. MVX: London has a demo available on Steam, exclusively as part of the Steam Next Fest event that will end October 26, 2026. Once it ends, the demo will be removed from the Steam store page and unavailable for download.
In the demo version includes a mix of creatures from swarms of “Cinderlings” to shielded beasts like the “Molten Guard.” Those who play the demo will be able to earn currency to buy new abilities, guns, attachments, and equipments. They can also unlock harder difficulties as they progress throughout the game.
However, players should keep in mind that this demo is an early build. The developers will plan on continuing to improve the game. Anything the players unlock in this version of MVX: London will not transfer over to the full game, which will not be free-to-play once it officially releases.
