Multiplayer Gameplay Revealed in Trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda

With Mass Effect: Andromeda’s release date only a little over a month away, a new trailer has been released that reveals some multiplayer gameplay. The most recent trailer shows off a little bit of multiplayer gameplay as well as some of the xp boosts and other goodies that players will get access to if pre ordering the game.

The trailer itself was not designed to solely show off the multiplayer mechanics, but instead reveal the benefits of pre ordering the game. The pre oder includes a unique armor set called Deep Space Explorer to be worn by Ryder. Players will also get a skin for the Nomad ground vehicle and a XP boost for multiplayer. Not unlike Call of Duty and Battlefield 1, a multiplayer XP boost when the game first comes out can help players get an advantage over the competition.

Without having gone into much detail at all about what the multiplayer will include, the video below shows very little as to what the core multiplayer modes will be. Other than seeing some impressive biotic powers, the gameplay shown does not signal anything as to what the players will be tasked to do, only that you will now be able to perform biotic slams on other players. Take a look below and see what you think.

In other Mass Effect: Andromeda news, the game will be released on all platforms on March 21st. If you haven’t gotten your fill of Mass Effect trailers, you can take a look at one of their cinematic ones here, or for in game combat footage from CES 2017, take look here.
