MOTORSLICE Is Coming in May for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox

Many games make use of long-standing demos to test mechanics, gauge player feedback, and create hype for the game. This is especially useful for indie games, which are often advertised mostly by the public being excited to share the game. This plan has worked wonders for the upcoming MOTORSLICE, which was already receiving lot of attention before the demo. Now that players have had the chance to experience the game for themselves, the release window trailer that dropped today has been met with extreme hype and positivity.

The trailer begins with an introduction to Slicer P, the game’s main character at the start of a mission. The trailer leaps right into some of the intense parkour that makes up the core gameplay. P is seen running between walls in the dark, leaping across horizontal poles, and fighting construction-themed machine enemies. These elements all come together when she fights the boss, forcing her to platform up the enemy to defeat it in a way that is reminiscent of one of the game’s inspirations, Shadow of the Colossus.

The Steam store page advertises the game as a slice of life action-adventure game in a post-apocalyptic world. This juxtaposition is reflected in the main character, who goes through each dead-defying movement in the trailer with a look of indifference across her face. The latest announcements from the game’s developer, Regular Studio, detail the numerous improvements that have been made for the game in the recent months, including polished features and bug fixes. Most interesting for certain fans is the announcement that the game will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox in addition to the Steam release.

MOTORSLICE promises an experience that combines many popular games with a fresh style attached. Those who enjoyed the demo will have the chance to play the game when it releases in May.
