When Mortal Kombat X came out for PC, it was a fluke. It did not do too well with the fans, so NetherRealm announced that they would not be releasing any of the new DLC’s or the complete edition for PC users. However, two sources earlier today released some rumors that this may not be true anymore. The series creator Ed Boon sent a twitter message with the following message:

From the capitalized letters we could decipher MKXLPC, which could be showing that Mortal Kombat XL will be coming out for PC sometime soon. While this has not been officially confirmed yet we can expect to see one soon as usually Boon would send out a rumor with an official statement released shortly after. On Steam there is a beta called MKXL Enhanced Online Beta which will be available until the 29th.
It would not be surprising to see a PC version come out now since there was a poll that was released asking the fans what they would want to see come out. So if they listen to the majority of the votes on the poll a PC version should come out. The poll can be seen below
Over 10,000 of you voted. Looks like you guys really want a PC MKXL and some character love/buffs! We hear ya! pic.twitter.com/1oHB4e3yHL

The original release of Mortal Kombat X was released at the same time for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 along with the first DLC, but the other DLC and the XL release were not. The PC version had issues with saves being deleted and numerous crashes, so hopefully by the time an XL is released these issues will be fixed.
