Mortal Kombat 11 Brings Back Johnny Cage with New Enhancements

The classic fighting game Mortal Kombat 11 has been enjoyed by many for years now and their gaming audience will be pleased to know this game just got a whole lot more interesting. NetherRealm Studios has just added Johnny Cage to their roster of powerful and well rounded fighters. The movie star has been well known in the game ever since the first mainstay entry into the game’s franchise, but over time developers changed his looks to fit their liking. In Mortal Kombat 11 he appears to look a bit older with grey hair, but still embodies the classic stereotypical Hollywood actor.

Johnny Cage has retained many of his iconic battle moves such as the flip kick, rising ball, fireball, rising punch and shadow kick. Johnny’s ability doesn’t stop there, with some new enhancements the star is also able to use a camera’s flash of blinding light to stun his opponents momentarily. In addition, he can call upon a stun double to hold down his opponent in order to deliver a striking blow. His character in the game has a humorous tone, but his fists say a whole different story, so check him out for yourself.

NetherRealm Studios is also hosting a Kombat Kast Stream later today at 1 PM PT, 10 AM ET, 9 PM GMT, 8 AM AEDT (February 28). Usually during the streams members of the development team breakdown certain areas of the game and go into great detail about the characters in the game. If you’re a huge fan of Mortal Kombat 11 or Johnny Cage then this stream will definitely entertain you. The stream can be watched on Twitch to inform players about the game and its new features.

On March 28, a Mortal Kombat 11 beta will be planned for those who pre-order and the game will officially be released on April 23 on Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and PS4.
