Middle-Earth: Shadow of War developer Monolith recently tweeted out their scheduling for the game’s upcoming DLC content. The latest content releases, Slaughter Tribe and the Endless Siege mode, had been previously announced with no clear release date.
As of November 21st, Slaughter Tribe, plus the Endless Siege, Rebellion and Enhanced Photo modes are available for Shadow of War. Enhanced Photo Mode, which was also added to the first Middle-Earth game, allows players to take pictures mid-gameplay with filters and extra adjustment options.
December will see the release of three more pieces of content: Online Pit Fights on December 5th, and a ‘Brutal’ difficulty setting on December 12th – which will unseat ‘Nemesis’ mode as the most difficult setting on which to play Shadow of War. Alongside Brutal mode, a new orc tribe will be added; the tribe will bring new fortresses and missions for players to complete.
Monolith’s 2018 DLC releases still don’t have a confirmed date yet; the final two pieces of announced story DLC will be given exact dates later down the road. Blade of Galadriel has a February 2018 launch window, and Desolation of Mordor is coming in May. Further DLC, if any, have yet to be confirmed, though Monolith promises “more to be announced.”
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
