Mobile Game One Punch Man: Road To Hero Announced by Oasis Games Ltd, Up for Pre-Registration

From a three-panel comic strip series, to a popular manga, to full-blown gorgeous anime, One Punch Man has come a long way. Written by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, the series has captured (punched?) the heart of many with its captivating story and unique characters. And with a second season coming soon, Oasis Games Ltd had a plan in mind. This plan? And the reason for talking about a hit anime? Because One Punch man is getting its first officially licensed mobile game today known as One Punch Man: Road to Hero.

One Punch Man: Road to Hero takes players on a journey through the first season on One Punch Man. There, they can use the game as a playground to experience the anime in their own way with dozens of chapters and over 50 characters that they can play as. Each of the main characters make an appearance, and even more obscure or one-time characters will show up, going deeper into their backstory and motivations. Players will be able to train them to be the best and strongest in the world.

Comparing the game to the show, in the series episodes each one introduces a new villain for our heroes to take down. In the game, players can relive those battles from the episodes and take the villains down themselves. To do that the game has introduced a fun turn-based card RPG, where no one card is the answer but a lot of combos is! One of the really cool things about the card battle system is that the game has a record feature where players can keep their best battles in video format. But, let’s be real, the only person who has the one-hit be-all, is the actual One-Punch Man Saitama himself. Everyone else? Needs to throw in several combos.

Speaking of Saitama, One Punch Man: Road to Hero is actually fully voiced by the original voice actors. The game will feature Makoto Furukawa (Saitama), Kaito Ishikawa (Genos), Kaji Yuki (Speed-o’-Sound Sonic) and many others returning as their previous characters.

One Punch Man: Road to Hero is set to for Pre-Registration starting today and can be found on both Android and iOS systems. The game will be free, but has no set release date currently.
