The MLB recently began a new tradition of playing a Field of Dreams game in Iowa to commemorate one of the greatest movies of all time. Now, MLB the Show 22 has begun a special program that will commemorate the movie as well. It will be called the Field of Dreams Program and will feature some of the most elite baseball players in the MLB as rewards.
The program features multiple different bosses that are broken up into Future Stars, Flashback, and Legends. The program began on August 9 at 12 PM PT and has not gotten a declared ending date to this point.
The Future Stars category features some of the bright young stars from the MLB. Currently, the bosses consist of Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz, Tigers center fielder Riley Greene, and Orioles pitcher Grayson Rodriguez. Each of these players will be a 99 overall in the game and have clearly shown enough during their time in the league to be considered future stars of the MLB.
Welcome to the Field of Dreams! 🌽#MLBTheShow 22’s newest featured program will have 9 total bosses and will be live today around noon PT.

The Flashback category of bosses consists of players who are still in the league and have had amazing seasons in the past. The first option is the Reds first baseman Joey Votto, followed by Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina, and Royals pitcher Zack Greinke. Each of these players are still dominant forces in the league and have had some of the most elite seasons of all time.
Finally, the next group of bosses will be the Legends category. This category contains legends who are no longer playing in the MLB. The pack contains former Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts, Cubs third baseman Ron Santo, and Tigers center fielder Al Kaline.
