Microsoft recently announced the new DLC for the upcoming Dead Rising 4: Deluxe Edition for players who have the season pass. Headlining the list is a 18-hole mini golf course. The DLC is called Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf. The course is set up for “pure wanton destruction.” A post by Xbox Wire says that the game of undead putt-putt is made all the more difficult with zombies acting as hazards and generally getting in the way on the mini links. It has multiplayer support for up to four players. Instead of using a putter to hit the ball, you’ll use a gun. The fairways are set up all across of the Willamette, Colorado, the main setting of the game.
Microsoft gave its own little intro to the DLC:
Watch your score as you do not want to bogey in this zombie filled eighteen-hole golf course. Mini golf is made crazier with the zombie horde as obstructions and hazards.
The season pass also comes with Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack which includes holiday-themed weapons, vehicle, zombies and costumes. The final addition to the DLC is an expansion pack called Frank Rising which sees the main character become infected and go on a journey in order to find the cure before he becomes a zombie.
The Dead Rising 4: Deluxe Edition season pass costs $25 and will be currently available for Deluxe Edition owners only. Other players will be able to buy the pack when the game releases in December. No images or videos of the DLC and its contents have been released nor is it known if the season pass will be sold separately or as a part of the bundle.
Dead Rising 4 is currently only a Microsoft exclusive, being only available for Xbox One and PC. However, it may eventually arrive for the PS4. PS4 players can play the HD remaster of the first three games.
Dead Rising 4 is set to be released on December 6.
