During its big Nintendo Direct for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo caught everyone’s attention, raising the prices for some of its first-party titles to $80. It led to speculation, wondering if everyone else in the industry would follow suit, considering the situation with the Trump administration’s tariffs. Today, Microsoft announced that they are raising the prices for consoles, controllers, other accessories, and first-party games starting this Holiday season to $79.99.
