4A Games introduced Metro: Exodus as an epic first person shooter. The action game is jam packed with intense combat intermingled with survival. When the game was initially announced, its mere development had generated an astounding amount of support. One would think the game should be released sooner because of the excitement, but it seems that the hype for Metro has had the opposite effect but for good reason.
Recently, the creators of Metro: Exodus had announced that they would be delaying the game until next year. Since its reveal, the game has come along way, or at least how it is portrayed on its website. Metro: Exodus gives fans a glimpse of its factions consisting of the dominant Hanza—the lethal hazards such as radiation—and of its demonic mutants. However, it is with a heavy heart that 4A Games has decided to pull the reins on Metro, but the developers promise their loyal fans that the delay will surely be worth the wait.
4A Games proves that a delayed game isn’t always a terrible thing. It is admirable that the developers would go to such a risky length to ensure that players will have an amazing gaming experience. 4A Games also assures followers of Metro that its development is alive and well, and fans can anticipate a thrilling gameplay of a never before seen environment of Metro at this year’s E3 event. Nonetheless, fans seem to be quite content with the delay. Many of the followers wish 4A Games the best as they continue their hard work to bring out the best of Metro: Exodus.
The game developers are grateful as they give their thanks once again to their positive and supportive fanbase.
2019 is a long ways from now, but the time will definitely deliver what fans have been waiting for. As of now, players are still able to preorder the game for Xbox One, PS4, and Steam.
