Just like the collaboration with Sony for God of War’s Kratos earlier this month, Epic Games has secured some more iconic characters for their extremely popular title Forntite. Announced at The Game Awards, Halo’s Master Chief and The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon and Michonne will be joining the online party, which makes Epic seeking out other characters for the game that much more likely.

While Master Chief had been rumored for a while, the inclusion of The Walking Dead characters was a bit of a surprise, one that was quite welcome. In addition to the new characters, their will be some new bundles that will include some iconic pieces from both franchises.
Although the trailers are very short, they get the point across very quickly. The first one shows Master Chief scaring someone while climbing out of a freezer in a grocery store, because why not? The second one has both Daryl and Michonne mowing down zombies before finding a Forntite character out of nowhere, who then teleports back to the main game. We also got a funny short with the classic show Red VS. Blue which also included world renowned streamer Ninja. Master Chief is available now while Daryl and Michonne will be coming later this month.
