What is happening over at BioWare?
Today, Senior Editor at BioWare, Cameron Harris, gently announced her pending resignation from the company. Having previously worked on games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, this comes as a surprise to many, because you see, Harris isn’t only leaving BioWare, but the entire gaming industry in pursuit of something new. On the next step in her career, Harris is looking to set roots in Seattle, Washington.
Perhaps she got tired of working all the way up in Montreal, Canada–where BioWare keeps its current base of operations for their upcoming addition to the ME series, Mass Effect: Andromeda. Until her official resignation in April of this year, Harris will remain on the project as Senior Editor.

Harris’ absence marks the fourth member to resign from BioWare. Lead Writer Chris Schlerf announced his resignation back last month, while the director of ME: Andromeda took leave, as well as esteemed Dragon Age writer, David Gaider. All left to work on other projects with other companies.
It was announced earlier in the month that ME: Andromeda would experience delay in release–and fans can’t help but wonder if hiccups in development such as these might be the cause, what with this many people jumping ship. But there is nothing official to back up these suspicions.
Hopefully Harris will find happiness in whatever she chooses to move onto–and with any luck, despite its setbacks, fans can look forward to the next installment in our Mass Effect space adventures.
