Marvel Rivals Leaks Reveal Possible Future Additions to the Character Roster

If you’ve been playing video games for the past week then you already know about Marvel Rivals and its massive success. So massive, in fact, that the recent release of the official Season 1 as well as Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman pushed Rivals to new heights with over half a million concurrent players. But with success comes leaks, and Marvel Rivals is no exception, with some pretty stunning leaks for future roster members hitting the internet recently.

Previously, all four members of the Fantastic Four were leaked and as we know now Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman are currently part of the roster with Human Torch and The Thing soon to follow. Ultron was also part of those early leaks and he has largely been revealed to be a real leak as well so these leaks have a bit of weight behind their claims. Keep in mind though, as with any information regarding leaks, that no matter how credible they may seem this should all still be taken with a grain of salt.

Some of the leaked roster members are highly requested, such as the X-Men leader Cyclops. Alongside him are fellow X-Men Colossus, Jean Grey, Deadpool and Emma Frost as well as characters Marvel actively look to push like Captain Marvel and Blade. A bit more shocking then, is the wheelchair bound X-Men leader Professor X and Hit Monkey, who is a monkey with guns. MODOK has a history with being a “joke pick” in Marvel games before but Angela and Paste Pot Pete are very left field picks to anyone familiar with comics, not to mention relative unknowns like Jia Jeng and Locus.

These far out roster picks will lead people to doubt these leaks more than ever, which is for the best. Better to not hype yourself up for someone like Cyclops if he never comes, but if he does come out with… The Hood then it’s a pleasant surprise, right?

Derek Lairmore: I've been playing video games and writing my entire life, so naturally I decided to combine the two passions. I love video games and video game culture, as far back as I can remember I've not only played them, I've actively participated in their communities. I hope my history in this hobby and my enthusiasm for writing helps me convey news to you accurately and succinctly.
