MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the next upcoming modern arcade-inspired beat ’em up from publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games, had a panel today at San Diego Comic Con 2025. During the panel, they announced two new playable characters joining the game’s roster: The Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill. Dotemu and Tribute Games also announced the voice cast for the heroes that have been revealed so far.

Silver Surfer is a metallic-skinned humanoid alien from the Fantastic Four series. Imbued with the Power Cosmic, the Surfer can stun any adversary, easily glide in the skies or close to the ground. Beta Ray Bill is a fan-favorite recognized by the Mighty Thor as a proven ally. With Stormbreaker, his own devastating hammer, Bill’s strength can squash anyone standing in his way.

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will feature voiceovers for its playable roster as well as the most pivotal figures within its galaxy spanning narrative. The voice cast for the game features:

• Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm)

Brian Bloom, Trevor Devall and Elysia Rotaru joined the panel lineup as special guests following the announcement. More of the voice cast will be revealed in the future.

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion follows both Earth-born and cosmic superheroes who must join forces in a star-spanning adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave following the immortal Super Villain Annihilus’ unprecedented attack across the galaxy, threatening all life as we know it.

Players will be able to choose two of a roster of fifteen characters that can be tagged out between each other mid-fight with the innovative Cosmic Swap system, capitalizing on distinct superpowers and special attacks to create unique team-ups and dish out devastating damage.

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will release in 2025 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox.
