A terrifying incident took place at the Sea Cave Arcade and Bar in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans on Sunday, December 12th. A patron walked in and started putting stickers on a vintage arcade cabinet. Lea ended The Wolf’s membership and gave him a refund, asking him to leave. Upon being kicked out, the customer responded by asking if Judah was “interested in dying”. The customer called himself The Wolf and had only been a member for around a month. He already had a reputation for saying rude things and making people uncomfortable. The man brandished a butterfly knife and alleged that he owned an AK, before leaving at about 7:30 pm. One half-hour later the man returned and locked the front door from the outside with a bike lock, trapping Sea Cave staff and patrons inside. Then he started smashing windows.

“My face was right there (by the window) as it was happening,” recalls patron Christian Cole. Cole and the others escaped via the backdoor and Lea called the police. However, the assaulter had already escaped when the police officers arrived. Later in the night, Lea watched the surveillance cameras from home and saw the man return with an axe. He smashed the arcade cabinets and windows between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. The police officers arrived just a bit too late again as the man had already fled, for the second time in one night.
Lea estimated the overall damage to be between $30,000 and $50,000, but that’s not the end. The man returned yet again on Monday around 10 p.m. as a group of patrons were helping the staff clean up the mess. He ran behind the group with a gun in hand and shouted, “Tell them to shut it down.” New Orleans police arrested the man at 11:45 p.m. on Monday night. However, they haven’t released any further details.
