In Magic: Legends players take on the role of a Planeswalker adventuring through different regions featured in the original card game, from the tropical academy of Tolaria to the volcanic island of Shiv. Players will be able to choose from five Planeswalker starting classes, with more classes being available later on. These starting classes include Geomancer, Mind Mage, Beastcaller, Sanctifier, and Necromancer.
Players will build a deck of spells that will be drawn randomly and used during real-time battles. Along their journey, players will acquire new spells, spell pages that upgrade spells, and artifacts and equipment to help make their deck more powerful and suited towards their playstyle. Players can experience the game solo, or with up to two other players. Additionally, players can fight each other in one on one PvP duels.
Magic: Legends is now available on PC on either Arc Games or the Epic Games Store. Those who download the game off of Arc Games will receive the Gavony Vigilante costume, the Bruiser skin for the Ogre Mortar creature summon, two drop boosts, and two mission boosts for free. Those who download the game off of the Epic Games Store before April 6 will receive the Moorland Ranger costume, Moorland Ranger Werewolf creature summon skin, and two drop boosts for free. The full version of Magic: Legends will release later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.
