We already got some Magic The Gathering new earlier at The Game Awards, but apparently, we were in for some more. A brand new MMO based on the popular card game, Magic Legends was officially announced as yet another extension to the MTG franchise. The game is being developed by Perfect World Games and Cryptic Studios, and is looking like a seriously huge movie into the main AAA market for the series.

The game will be set around the many planes that the franchise is known for, and will be an online-multiplayer only title. While the trailer was brief, it offered a glimpse on how all of the different worlds and planes will look, and for the moment, it’s quite aesthetically pleasing. No official gameplay was shown, but we can’t wait to see more of this project. You can sing up for the beta here.
