Mafia Trilogy Teaser Trailer Released; Announcement Coming May 19

The Mafia Series takes fans in an extraordinary time loop where players can relive the mafia eras where mobsters are in control and taking anything they believe belongs to them. Now 2k games is letting fans get that same feeling as they share the official trailer of the re-release Mafia Trilogy games this week.

This news was shared on the Mafia Trilogy official Twitter account which has been silent for the last two years has made their announcement of the trilogy. Within the trailer the first three words that stand out through the showing of the trailer was Family, Power, and Respect; as this get Mafia fans excited about getting into what’s to come for the trilogy it gives new fans insight of what being part of the Mafia gang looks like and what kind of new mobster escapades that will be added to the game.

On the Kotaku website, they recently shared that the Xbox Marketplace put up a set description of the new Mafia: Definitive Edition to get fans excited about the upcoming game. They description reads: “Part one of the Mafia crime saga – 1930s, Lost Heaven, IL. Re-made from the ground up, rise through the ranks of the Mafia during the Prohibition era of organized crime. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. Initially uneasy about falling in with the Salieri crime family, Tommy soon finds that the rewards are too big to ignore.” The game will also have expanded story gameplay and original score.

The original Mafia was released in 2002 and then 10 years later Mafia 2 came out; which then leads to Mafia 3 coming out just in 2016. But with such a grand reveal like this, Mafia Trilogy is going to have fans in a whirlwind of excitement because of this long-awaited game. The announcement of the Mafia Trilogy will be coming out May 19.
