Madden rating week continues as Madden has now released their top ten cornerbacks coming to Madden 23! One of the most important positions on the field, cornerbacks often have to lead their team’s defense and wreak havoc on the opposing team’s passing game.
The highest-rated cornerback in Madden 23 will be Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey is a member of the Los Angeles Rams and will begin the game rated as a 98 overall. Although he does not begin the season in the 99 overall club, Ramsey has the potential to gain the extra point based on his play throughout the season.
Jaire Alexander of the Green Bay Packers comes in rated as the second highest cornerback in Madden 23. Alexander will be a 94 overall and is looking to lead the Green Bay Packers to another playoff berth.
The third highest-rated cornerback in Madden 23 is Tre’Davious White of the Buffalo Bills. White had an incredible season and helped lead the Bills to a playoff win, thus leading to him coming into Madden 23 as a 93 overall.
Tied for the fourth spot in highest-rated cornerbacks are Denzel Ward and Darius Slay Jr., who will each be coming into the game as a 92 overall. Denzel Ward is a member of the Cleveland Browns and will potentially be leading them to the playoffs in the upcoming season with one of the most explosive defenses in the NFL. Darius Slay Jr. helped lead a good Eagles team to the playoffs and will be looking to continue his success and make an even deeper run this year!
Tied for the sixth highest-rated cornerback at 91 overall are Marshon Lattimore and Stephon Gilmore. Marshon Lattimore is a member of the New Orleans Saints and has helped lead them to some of the most impressive defenses in the last few years. Gilmore finished last season on the Carolina Panthers but signed a contract with the Indianapolis Colts during the offseason. Both players will be looking to make significant impacts on their teams’ defenses and help lead long playoff runs.
J.C. Jackson and Marlon Humphrey are tied for the eighth spot in the Madden 23 ratings at 90 overall. J.C. Jackson was a member of the New Orleans Patriots this past season and signed a new deal with the Los Angeles Chargers in the offseason. Jackson will be looking to lead a loaded Chargers defense through the AFC West, one of the hardest divisions in the NFL. Humphrey is a member of the Baltimore Ravens, who are largely seen as the favorite to win the AFC North in the upcoming season due to the return of multiple players from injury.
Coming in at tenth is A.J. Terrell Jr. of the Atlanta Falcons. Although the Falcons lost quarterback Matt Ryan this past offseason, the defense will be looking to make noise as one of the more explosive in the NFL.
Although there is still some time until the August 19 release date, Madden is already creating excitement about the game with their Madden ratings week!
