2K announced that Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is both the WWE 2K22 soundtrack producer and will also be included as a playable character. Machine Gun Kelly has been announced as the next coming playable character. He will be included in a DLC pack after the game officially launches. The company did not offer specifications on when he would be released and whether he would be in an expansion pack or a free-to-play. The news of his addition to the game comes at the same time he was announced as the game’s soundtrack producer.

Machine Gun Kelly helped to create a 12 track playlist of songs that will be included in the official soundtrack. The soundtrack has tracks from many stars including himself, The Weeknd, and Wu Tang Clan. The addition of major names will help the soundtrack draw in a wide array of players to the game.
