Fans of the new Luigi’s Mansion 3 may be happy to hear that the game is receiving several expansions in the future. According to Gamespot the game will be releasing two multiplayer expansions that will increase what players can do. The two expansions will only be purchasable together allowing players to get everything in a single package.
Nintendo of America also released a Tweet last night revealing what would be in store for players once the expansion packs release. According to the Twitter post, the first expansion pack which releases on April 30, 2020 will feature three new Screampark Minigames, three new floor themes for the ScareScraper, six new themed ghosts, and three new costumes. The first costume will feature a knight outfit, the second will feature a mummy wrap, and the third will feature a large bouffant hair-do. It is currently unknown what players will receive for the second expansion but it will be available on July 31, 2020.

Players who buy the DLC right now will also be able to receive a new flashlight that will show the cute face of Polterpup on any surface that the light is focused on. Players can acquire this flashlight by going to the in-game laboratory. During The 2019 Game Awards, Luigi’s Mansion 3 won the award for the Best Family Game, making it a great game to play for all ages. Little more is known about the multiplayer expansion pack at the moment but more information will likely be released at a later date. In order to access the DLC, players will need to purchase the $10 multiplayer pack from the Nintendo Eshop.
