CI Games, the developers to the expansive action-adventure RPG, Lords of the Fallen, have shown off the first look at its sequel’s gameplay at The Game Awards 2025. Following the events of the previous game, players will once again take up the role of a fabled warrior fighting through legions of dark foes, this time a century later than the last game.
In the trailer, a woman insists that she will walk alongside the warrior, asking for her father’s forgiveness for what she must do. The gameplay revealed brings up both the brutality and the scale from the previous game, boasting the impressive capabilities of the Unreal Engine 5. True to the previous game, Lords of the Fallen 2 will feature challenging boss battles with monstrous warriors and even a dragon set in the iconic dual realms. The game is set to release in 2026 on PlayStation, Xbox, and the Epic Games Store.
