Loftia, an MMO game, is opening its game to a closed beta release, on “April 22nd at 2pm PDT”. Some fans will be able to play the current version of the game before its upcoming release, slated later this 2026.
What is Loftia? Announced two years ago, the game’s description on Steam highlights that Loftia is “a cozy, multiplayer world where you can build towards a brighter, more sustainable future! Connect with friends both old and new, to farm, craft, explore, decorate, and create a meaningful impact – together.”
In the description of today’s Beta Cinematic Trailer, the developers discuss how the beta will be a “ closed playtest for our Kickstarter Backers and Loftia Partners,” however, the developers will be giving out “beta keys” for interested players until April 22nd. To find out more information about this, you can visit Loftia’s discord or their official website.
The Official Beta Cinematic Trailer starts with a view of a squirrel, and npc’s on a platform. The squirrel bounces from place to place showing players a view of Loftia. Views of floating water falls, to woodland areas where people are walking and crafting, to farming plots and spaces where npc are watering plants. From there, the trailer shows npc’s on flying insects, characters running with hammers and breaking apart huge rocks, to more npc’s fishing in a lake.
The trailer gives more visuals of a roller coaster, bustling roads, neighbourhoods full of trash, and others with people throwing basketballs etc. The squirrels slides down a banner, there’s a glimpse of a working airship taking off, and a sewing shop where npc’s change their clothes, to a workshop where items are actively being built, and a massive green house showcasing the words “Welcome home.” The trailer closes with a wide shot of Loftia. The world of Loftia, in the cinematic is vast and colorful, so it comes as no surprise that after seeing this trailer fans seem to have high expectations for the game’s release.
