Qloud Games is an Australian indie studio that was founded in 2022 by Michael and Martina. It is a fully remote studio with developers from 8 different countries that have worked hard in the creation of Loftia. A massively multiplayer cozy game that brings to life the developers mission to publish a game that combines social gaming, community, and commitment to sustainability together.

Players will be able to farm, craft, explore, decorate, and create a meaningful impact on the world around them with their friends. Together they can build a sustainable world, unlock new resources, and uncover hidden stories. Gameplay does feature group quests, where players will scavenge deserted factories, explore sky islands, and solve challenging puzzles.

The game also feature’s character and home customization. Players will be able to change their outfit and appearance into a style that suits their taste. They can design a unique home aesthetic, using their creativity to bring their dream Loftia home to life. Recent updates have added new features that enable players to expand their island, granting them more space to build and decorate.

Some social features of Loftia include community farming, Don’t Drop The Ball mini-game, contribution bins. Community farming is a mini-game where players grow crops in a shared space while racing against the clock to harvest the seeds they planted. The game runs every hour and players can sign up with an NPC before it starts. Every action earns players points from sowing, watering, to delivering crops into the seed baskets.

Don’t Drop The Ball is a mini-game that can be enjoyed solo or with friends. The main premise is that players must keep the ball from touching the ground, consistently bouncing it into the air. The longer players keep the ball up, the faster it starts to move, and the ball will visually evolve as the players reach a higher hit count.

An official release date trailer was posted on Loftia’s YouTube Channel, revealing that the game will be available for Early Access via Steam on November 3rd, 2026. The trailer showcases the floating islands where players will gather together along with some of the build mini-games and customizations.

The character creation feature of the game enables players to adjust the color schemes to some of their outfits and even adjust the way hats sit on their character’s head. There are also pets that players can own, which features customization for their clothing and fur patterns.
