Little Cells Release Across Computer Platforms

The side-project studio of professional game developers, named Fully Bugged, released their first game Sep. 3, Little Cells.  The game is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux for $4 USD and can be found here. A launch trailer for the game has been released, and can be located below.Little Cells runs on the open-source 2D Orx Engine, also engineered by Fully Bugged. The game took five years to develop. The developers were only able to devote a few hours a months to the project due to their varying geographical locations.

The 2D puzzle game is played through the lens of a microscope. Players drag around tri-colored cells with the purpose of eliminating like-colored ones through contact. Touching a certain color cell to a different colored one will create an extra cell of the third, uninvolved color. Cells also age and, if left alone for an extended period of time, will change aesthetically, in addition to contaminating the playing field.

Fully Bugged wishes to expand its title to as many platforms as possible, and plan to release Little Cells on Android and iOS markets later this year. The game is also up for community approval on the Steam Greenlight program and can be voted on here.
