Bandai Namco recently released a guided tour of what to expect from their upcoming game with Sanrio, Hello Kitty Party Land. The trailer shows this is more than a Mario Party style game, it is also a cozy game to sit down and unwind with.
To start your journey, you must first get ready; customize your character with the adorable art style to put yourself in this Sanrio world. Don’t forget to bring along your choice of character to accompany you throughout your time in Party Land.
There’s never a dull moment here. In fact, the trailer showcases some of the places you can visit and activities to partake in.
Visit Game Park, this is where the Mario Party-esque part of the game shines. Grab your character and friends to play on one of three board games that is jampacked with fun at every step. Join together to collected required items to complete the game and receive your rewards. If you are an impatient person or find yourself wanting to keep the fun going even when you are waiting for your turn, there’s mini games to play to pass the time.
When you have collected enough in game currency, take a trip to the Shopping Mall to go on a shopping spree. Try on different clothes, accessories, and costumes to see what suits you best and make your avatar even cuter. Items to take on your future adventures are available here to keep gameplay fresh the longer you play.
Visit the Sky Farm when you feel the need to decompress and have a slice of cozy gaming. Here, you can grow your own vegetables in the garden and go fishing. If you’re feeling up for a little challenge, you can set out to discover the secret cave hidden deep in the farm.
Let your creativity flow in the Creative Lab and draw pictures of whatever your heart desires. You can also create your own music with the Melody Cake or play match puzzles.
Take some friends and create memories at the Photo Studio. Choose from various backgrounds and poses to make the ultimate keepsake that is as adorable as it is heartwarming to reminisce on.
All throughout your time in Party Land, don’t forget to walk around to meet Sanrio characters scattered about, There are fan favorites and lesser known classics that you can find and talk to, each one will give you a unique sticker as a reward for interacting them. These stickers are then stored in your sticker book that will slowly be filled the more you explore.
Hello Kitty Party Land is set to release October 29, 2026 for the Switch.
