LEGO Star Wars Battles Will Be Coming to the Apple Arcade Next Week

Next week, on September 24th, 2021, LEGO Star Wars Battles launches on the Apple Arcade. Developed in a collaboration between Lucasfilm Games, Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and the LEGO Group, this action strategy game will have real-time multiplayer PvP battles where any character from any generation of the Star Wars universe all with their own unique abilities and advantages. For example, Luke Skywalker will have a special Force Push that sweeps enemies aside, while Darth Vader will have a Force Slam that immediately stops enemies from moving any closer. Each character’s abilities will play into their role in the story in order to make players feel as immersed as possible. If you are a star wars fan this is the game to play.

You can create your own army using collected characters, troops, and vehicles that can later be upgraded for advanced damage potential. Armies can encompass characters from both the light and the dark side, so the entire realm of star wars is available to everyone. Battles take place in areas based on iconic locations from the Star Wars franchise such as Naboo, Hoth, and Geonosis. By placing specific defensive towers around your territory, you can gain an advantage on your opponent such as Droid-factories for immediate army regeneration and turbo blasters to shoot down attacks from the sky. Some characters work better with certain towers and less well with others, so players will have to be meticulous in how they craft their armies to ensure they are as cohesive as possible.

LEGO Star Wars Battles is currently available only for pre-registration and can be played on all iOS devices with up-to-date operation systems such as, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. An Apple Arcade account is required to play this game and can be purchased for $4.99 a month.
