Earlier this month, Apple announced more than 30 new games would be coming to Apple Arcade as well as two new categories to help keep its growing collection of games organized. With this addition, more than 180 games are available for download as part of the Apple Arcade subscription service. More games will be coming soon to the platform such as Frenzic Overtime, Leo’s Fortune, and Legends of Kingdom Rush, which will be an Apple Arcade exclusive.
Based on the medieval fantasy world of Kingdom Rush, the tower-defense game, Legends of Kingdom Rush is an RPG that will have roguelike elements. The game will have you lead a party of heroes to stop an extraplanar menace of unprecedented proportions who is attacking the realm. You’ll be able to lead 5 legendary heroes like the mighty paladin Gerald Lightseeker or the shadow assassin Asra Daggerfall. In addition, 11 companion heroes can join your party, each with different skills and powers.
Throughout the game, you’ll learn more about the Kingdom Rush universe with over 100 narrative events while you fight your way through lush forests, rugged mountains, and devastated wastelands. The game features strategic grid-based combat where you’ll move your heroes on a hex-based grid to best fit their skills to your combat tactics.
