Nowadays it is always rumored about Valve making a third installment of their games but never actually releasing anything. Just recently there was a screenshot of Valve employee’s files and one was labeled Left 4 Dead 3. This picture was deleted soon after it was posted and a new one was posted without the Left 4 Dead folder. So by having this quick change and upload, could this mean that a third installment of Left 4 Dead will be released?
But this could just be that Valve employees have a folder titled Left 4 Dead 3 and possibly another folder called Half-Life 3. But if that is the case that they have folders like these could that mean that something has been in the works for these series? This is not the first time that news of Left 4 Dead 3 has been leaked. Back in 2013, Dota 2 fans touring Valve’s office found a Left 4 Dead 3 listing, and back in 2014 the co-creator of Counter Strike, who no longer works at Valve, stated that Left 4 Dead 3 was in development and looked great!
While it will be amazing to see a new Left 4 Dead game Valve’s plans have been very secretive and unpredictable. Recently there have been many leaks or some hints that there are 3rd installments to come, but Valve has never really released any dates on a release, or if the games are actually in development. If a 3rd installment comes out sometime soon could we expect a Half-Life 3 to come back sometime soon as well?
