With the year drawing to a close, the League of Legends team has released their final Dev Diary of the year and with the release comes a multitude of new addons for Wild Rift. You can check out the full Dev Diary below!
Starting out is the announcement of the first cannon lore event named Noxian Brotherhood. This event will bring in two new characters by the names of Draven and Darius. Parts of their story can be unlocked through the event by players, revealing the brothers’ unsettling past. Darius is an upfront type of attacker that can use his ultimate to finish off an enemy and even eliminate the cooldown if he receives a kill. Draven is more of a marksman, but this marksman needs no bow and arrow because Draven is skilled in flinging axes at his opponents.
The game will also see the upcoming monkey king’s arrival: Wukong. With the ability to clone himself, he will be able to divert enemies’ attention and practically be able to assassinate prime targets. Players can also expect to receive certain rewards if they took part in the actual open beta.
There will also be multiple new skin drops for certain heroes such as Queen Ashe, Steel Legion Garen, Academy Darius, Primetime Draven, High Noon Darius, Soul Reaver Draven, and Volcanic Wukong.
The League of Legends Team also teases what is ahead in 2021. It is reported that they will be doing more with their PC team, working on simultaneous events, joint announcements, and shared thematics. Players and fans will be able to learn more in January as more information will be released along with the first official ranked season of the game. There will also be more key heroes released in the future, like Timo who was in the trailer for Wild Rift.
Players in certain areas can find League of Legends: Wild Rift on both Google Play and the App Store.
