Earlier this month Riot Games revealed stellar news about upcoming releases for mobile. Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra were announced but the game prominently noted by mobile gaming fans was the release of League of Legends: Wild Rift. Riot Games announced a regional open beta this month, which went live yesterday for Android devices, but was delayed for IOS due to “technical issues.”
We’re having a couple of technical difficulties with opening up the Regional Open Beta, so the cinematic trailer might also be hitting a bit late!
We’ll keep you posted as we make progress. Hang tight!

This is a little bit disappointing due to League of Legends: Wild Rift being featured alongside the new iPhone 12 event and the new 5G capabilities. Yet, the release of the new beta Riot Games has also released a cinematic trailer and gameplay trailer to get individuals hyped for the game; even if they may have to wait a bit longer. The Gameplay trailer is listed below and the cinematic trailer will be posted at the end of the article.
Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, and Thailand are the only current available places where the beta can be downloaded, but this is bound to expand as time progresses forward. However, Americans will have to wait just a lit bit longer with an expected release in the States as of around Spring 2021.
If you are in any of the regions mentioned, you can download the Android Google Play version here; and for future players on the IOS App Store you can look for the game’s availability on the League of Legends: Wild Rift main homepage on their website located here. The game is suspected to release for IOS on the 29th of October 2020.
