League of Legends Shows Their Newest Champion Yone

As it was announced, Yone is the newest champion on League of Legends by sharing an amazing new cinematic trailer that shows off to fans of the game new story and lore surrounding the new champion. With this new animation, it does a pretty great job sharing Yone’s abilities which gives players a chance to see what they would be expected when playing with the new champion.

Yone is a pretty new character to League of Legends but isn’t completely unfamiliar. Yasuo is the brother of Yone, he was first introduced to League of Legends lore about seven years ago when Yasuo was first introduced in the game. Ever since then Yone has been a mystery to the League of Legends community until now.

On the League of Legends website, developers discussed furthermore Yone and his character development. “The last time we saw Yone, he was presumed dead. I started off by exploring that maybe Yone hadn’t actually died in the first place, but that didn’t feel right. It didn’t do Yone justice, but more than that, it didn’t do Yasuo justice either. I rather wanted to ensure that I furthered the story of these two brothers rather than rewrite it entirely or take away from what they’ve been through.”

They continued, “When Riot Earp showed us his design, it helped highlight the character and story differences we were going for. It really reflected the contrast between the two bothers and helped ground me there.”

In the trailer, the animation goes into different animation styles and different courses in time of the life of the classic champion Yasuo and his older brother Yone who ends up joining the vengeful spirit to be part of League of Legends. This is around the same time to celebrate the new Spirit Blossom missions which had both champions have a huge attribute in the game event.

Fans will be able to start playing with new champion when the 10.6 patch releases to the League of Legends game on August 6 which will be bringing in numerous updates including with Yone. League of Legends is available now on PC.
