The latest episode of Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire was released this week. It showed off new details for the highly-anticipated game’s vehicles and fashion styles. It also announced Cyberpunk 2077’s Stadia release date this November. CD Projekt Red has been hosting online events called Night City Wire. The virtual showings explain features that will be in Cyberpunk 2077 as well as portions of gameplay. This is the fourth episode of Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire.
The episode unleashed details on the vehicles that can be driven by players in the game. The vehicles are divided into five different classifications — Economy, Executive, Heavy Duty, Sport, and Hypercars. Economy rides are the “affordable” modes of transportation while the Executive rides are more polished and expensive looking. According to GameRant, Heavy-duty vehicles can be used for “power and sturdiness over speed.” Meanwhile, Sport cars are all about speed and flashiness. However, the most sought-after vehicles will most likely be Hypercars. IGN describes these vehicles as “Bugatti-style top-end beasts designed for luxury speed.”
Cars in Night City can be used by players for transportation and to race opponents. CD Projekt Red also revealed that players will be able to “summon” cars if they’re purchased beforehand. The variety of vehicles to choose from shows Cyberpunk 2077’s commitment to individuality and adaptability. Hopefully, it will provide a gaming experience that will be unique to a player’s own personality.
Speaking of individuality and personality, CD Projekt Red also provided details on the fashion styles of Night City. The four variations of clothing include Kitsch, Entropism, Neomilitarism, and Neokitsch. In Kitsch, illuminated hair and chrome is all the rage, while Entropism boasts a more “whatever-you-can-find” look. Neomilitarism clothing is considered as “substance over style” and it looks exactly how it sounds. Lastly, Neokitsch will have players feeling like a celebrity, with bright colors and over-the-top accessories.
The fourth episode of Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire unveiled the variety of styles in the game. It reinforces the promise of customizability CD Projekt Red has long promised. Players will be able to manipulate their cars and fashion to best suit their own personalities. The episode also revealed the Stadia release date of November 19, the same date for consoles and PC players. In less than a month, all of Cyberpunk 2077’s customization will be at a player’s fingertips. And when the times comes to choose who you want to be in Night City, it’s important to remember it doesn’t matter if you’re dead, as long as you’re in style.
