The updated demo is officially open to the public. Lantern Studios, the small indie game design team of four, are preparing for the upcoming launch of their first game release: Luna The Shadow Dust. The team took to Twitter earlier this week to announce the awaited update.

For those who are new to the title, Luna The Shadow Dust is a fully hand-animated, point-and-click style puzzle game. The plot revolves around a lost boy as he ventures through a mysterious tower that suddenly appears. Along the way, he saves and befriends an adorable creature who follows alongside the boy on his journey. Each section of the tower presents a different puzzle for players to solve before continuing on to the next part of the tower. You will need to alternate control of the two in order to solve the puzzles, which increase in difficulty as they ascend.
The team also posted an update to Steam, announcing the new demo release. The updated demo now includes some new puzzles, improved animation quality, and new music selections from the game’s original soundtrack. At the end of the demo, the studio has included a survey in order to gather opinions and feedback regarding the gameplay. However, it seems as though there may be instances where the survey does not appear upon the completion of the demo. In such cases, the team includes a link to the survey in the post, which can also be found here. Players are also encouraged to give their feedback via the studio’s social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
The updated demo is available for download via the Steam Store. And remember that Luna The Shadow Dust is planned to launch later this upcoming summer. For further information regarding the game’s development progress, be sure to follow the studio on their official website and social media pages.
