Keeping up with the April Fools Day spirit, Landfall gave its fans a pleasant surprise with the official release of it’s upcoming game Content Warning. Fans can download the game for free on Steam until April 2 at 9 am PT/12 pm ET.
In Content Warning players can go solo or with up to four friends into the mind-bending Old World for a chance at going viral on SpookTube. Under the threat of oxygen depletion, players must try to film as many scary things as possible while surviving the many horrifying monsters lurking in the depths. Once filming is done, surviving players will have to race back to the diving bell to transport you to the surface to upload the content on SpookTube.

These sessions last for three days and as the ad revenue rises from each horror-filled video player will be able to obtain upgrades that help film better videos and their survivability in the Old World. Players that get enough views on their videos following the three-day limit will be able to continue on their adventures.
According to the press release, Landfall has made April Fool’s Day a community event by with the release of a new game for fans. Some of Landfall’s April Fool’s Day game releases include Supertruck, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Totally Accurate Battlegrounds and Rounds.
