Lady Gaga Has No Idea About ‘Fortnight’ and Ninja

Fortnite fans have been through a tremendous amount the past few days. It all started with the end of Season 10 a couple of days ago. In an event called “The End,” players witnessed a cataclysmic event in which the Visitor’s rocket was finally launched, along with other, similar rockets. The event triggered numerous rifts to open up while blinding lightning crashed in the sky. By the end of the event, a black hole appeared, swallowing up everything around it, including Fortnite. You can check out MXDWN’s coverage of the event here.

Players were left bewildered as the game was brought offline for nearly two days. The game’s Twitter feed also went dark, as did their streams on Twitch. All was made right again once Fortnite launched Chapter 2 yesterday. You could almost hear the sigh of relief from the player base, and the PR stunt got people talking. One celebrity in particular, however, seemed not only immune to the black hole ordeal, but to Fortnite itself.

Lady Gaga, amidst arguably the biggest event in the game’s history, remained almost painfully aloof to the buzz. Joking or not, her tweet caught the attention of none other than Ninja himself, a celebrity in his own right. The popular Fortnite streamer, now streaming exclusively on Mixer, invited Lady Gaga to play with him.

In a comical clap-back, Gaga admits to also not knowing who Ninja is. If it’s to be believed that she is oblivious to the existence of Fortnite, it stands to reason that she would also not know it’s biggest celebrity streamer.

Ninja, who was just the butt of one of the most hilarious tweets, decided to name drop his friend Drake, who he had streamed with on few occasions. As of now, Lady Gaga has not responded to Ninja’s rebuttal, but from the looks of it, she may not even care enough to tweet at him again.

Ninja did retweet Lady Gaga’s tweets about him, so it all seems to be in good fun. For now, it may be the end of one of the strangest pseudo-Twitter wars to date, but make sure to keep an eye on both Lady Gaga and Ninja on Twitter for the potential of more hilarious banter.
