Following all of the various livestreams during the weekend of Summer Game Fest, Konami announced that they would be releasing their own called Konami: Press Start Live! The presentation featured extended looks at METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER, Silent Hill f, and more. Here is rundown of everything that was showcased.
The developers behind METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER shared some more details about what’s new for the remake, including the Snake Vs. Monkey and Snake Vs. Bomberman game modes. The developers also talked about FOX HUNT, a brand-new online multiplayer mode that broadens the franchise’s core stealth element where players have to utilize their environments to camouflage and evade opposing players.
French developers ZDT Studios shared more info about their new action-adventure platformer Darwin’s Paradox. The game has players take on the role of a cunning octopus called Darwin who has been ripped from his ocean home and flung into a menacing alien-like world above the waves.
eFootball is a free-to-play soccer sim for couch and online co-op for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and mobile.
eBaseball MLB Pro Spirit is Konami’s mobile baseball game where players can play with all 30 teams and their real-life line-ups.
Konami shared news regarding the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship Series. Qualifers will be held in the following countries:
- South America: June 6-8
- Central America: July 4-6
- Oceania: Jul 5-6
- North America: July 11-13
- Europe: July 25-27
The World Championship will be held in Paris, France August 29-31. Konami also featured a look at Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game The Chronicles which is still playing monthly on the official YouTube channel.
The recently released Suikoden I&II HD Remasters will make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 with new visual enhancements that elevate the gaming experience. Konami also announced Suikoden STAR LEAP, a new role-playing adventure set in the world of Suikoden that will be available globally on PC and mobile. STAR LEAP takes place a few years before the events of Suikoden I, but a couple years after Suikoden V.
In celebration of Gradius’ 40th anniversary, Konami has announced Gradius Origins, a collection feauring the origins of the series with 18 versions available across all 7 arcade titles. The collection will feature Gradius, Salamander, Life Force, Gradius II, Gradius III, Salamander 2, and the all new entree into the legendary side-scrolling shooter series Salamander III.
The developers of Deliver at all Costs shared some information about its title where players take on the role of Winston Green down-on-his-luck courier with a fiery temper and a mysterious past who takes the solemn duty of a delivery driver very, very seriously. The game is available now on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
A demo is now available for EDENS ZERO. Players will be able to wield the full power of the Ether Gear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC ahead of the game’s full release on July 15. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game.
Survival Kids is a fast-paced, co-op survival game where players can work together to explore, chop, craft, fish, cook, and solve their way to safety. The game was released last week as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive launch title.
NeoBards Entertatinment, the developers behind SILENT HILL f released a dev diary providing players an in-depth look at the production of the game and how they are bringing the franchise closer to one of its many core pillars by focusing on Japanese horror elements. Lastly, Konami officially announced that Bloober Team is working on a SILENT HILL Remake.
