Kingdom Come: Deliverance Gets a Roadmap of Future DLC

Developer Warhorse Studios has unveiled a roadmap for the next year of both paid and unpaid content coming to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The medieval-themed role-playing game was released this past February. Now announced as part of Warhorse’s post-launch timeline, the studio is putting together four paid story expansions and a number of free add-ons, including a Hardcore mode and modding support.

The roadmap only gives us a rough idea of when each item will be released, and no specific launch dates are provided yet. Up first in the launch order is the story expansion From the Ashes, which will see players rebuild and restore a deserted town placed under their control. The game’s upcoming Hardcore mode is arriving at the same time as From the Ashes, and both should be out sometime this summer. In the meantime, Warhorse will be showing off the expansion at E3 in June.

Following that release, players will see two more story DLCs before we reach 2019; The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon and Band of Bastards should be coming in the fall and winter respectively. Warhorse will also be releasing a couple of videos (which are free for the game’s early Kickstarter backers): a documentary on the making of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and “Combat Academy.” In the way of free content, players will be getting a Tournament mode for the game.

Bringing up the rear in 2019, players will be seeing the fourth story expansion—and this one will be free for early backers. A Woman’s Lot looks to be coming pretty early on in the year, along with a free add-on for modding support in the game. When asked about pricing on Twitter, Warhorse replied that prices would “be announced later, closer to the release of the DLCs.” You can take a look at the roadmap infographic below:

Glenn Carreau: Hi! I'm Glenn: recent college grad specializing in interactive arts and media, writer, game creator and connoisseur, pop culture junkie, and semi-professional fan-artist and blogger. In my free time, I function as an unnecessarily specific gaming encyclopedia. I also play the violin, binge crime/detective procedural shows (still not sure why), and do a large amount of digital painting. I'm probably too attached to Dragon Age, but not really inclined to do anything about it. I'm a huge fan of cosplay, foxes, the prose of Jenny Lawson, and Strong Female Characters™.
