Indie Game Developer based in South Wales, UK, Deceptive Games has announced their first game on the PC via Steam Greenlight. Kidnapped is an adventure horror game that gives you a warning that says, “Kidnapped features sections that are high ‘panic’ in nature which may increase your heart rate. Please enjoy.”
In Kidnapped, players will be waking up in an unknown area after being kidnapped. You will take on the role of Sabastian, a man who mysteriously vanished without a trace. You the player will have to discover the truth of what truly happened to Sabastian in the year 1992. Travel through an old manor, dark caves, a forest, and an old church. The game will not only be an adventure horror game, but it will also involve puzzle-solving and combat. The decisions are up to you in this game, very intense situations may come up, where you wonder whether you should run, fight, or hide. Can you handle the horror that is about to come? “The game’s aim is to continuously unnerve the player by dynamically changing the game world as the player progresses, and to tell a rich story that stays with the player long after completion.”

- Interactive Environments – 50% of the world in items can be interactive with
- Enemies – Multiple enemies including wildlife, such as bears, foxes, stags etc, as well as strange monsters and creatures. You are the hunted, not the hunter
- Puzzle Elements – Collect and harness items to aid your survival and progression
- Weaponry – Take aim and arm yourself, if you can find one
- Resolution and Graphics – Designed to run at 1080p at 60fps
- Audio – Features an immersive sound design
- Random Encounters – Enemies spawn dynamically and can be located anywhere. Nowhere is safe
- Story – Kidnapped’s setting and story is based from actual real life stories of a popular myth lore/legend
