Just Cause 3, the destruction-based sandbox game published by Square Enix, has been in development for over a year in preparation for its December 1st, 2015 launch date. The developers at Avalanche Studios have been hard at work and while the status quo for so many upcoming titles has been to delay the launch and to push back release dates and even recall PC ports, they now have the luxury to boast like their CEO Christofer Sundberg did on Twitter, recently.
#JustCause3 is….. GOLD today!! Awesome work to our team taking this creation of ours and have evolved it with excellence! #RicoWasHere

A game “going gold” simply means that development has completed before the deadline, but it’s always a celebrated achievement. Luckily, it also guarantees that there will be no such delays for its arrival to retail. Also released just recently, however, is a 360° Wingsuit Ride video, and it’s pretty awesome.
Now that Avalanche has finished the base game, they’ll be moving on to the three already-announced DLC packs with respective Land, Sea, and Air themes. Also of note is that there are pre-order bonuses for the DLC, for which Avalanche has made a season pass available on Steam. For $25, you’ll have guaranteed access to all three DLC packs a full week before their still-unannounced release dates.
A free wingsuit experience app is also available now on iOS and Android, and is even compatible with the Google Cardboard VR setup, each allowing you to tilt the phone around to visually pan around as you view the world. Sundberg has even teased that they may consider implementing multiplayer sometime after launch. PC players of Just Cause 2 may be familiar with the unofficial Multiplayer Mod available on Steam that allowed for buggy and primitive multiplayer support via a few dedicated servers.
Players can look forward to getting their hands on the game starting December 1st, 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
