Job Simulator: Human Relations Just Announced For PC

Job Simulator: Human Relations, the newest game in the Job Simulator Series, was announced earlier this morning in a joint YouTube video by FarBridge and Owlchemy Labs. Upon arrival, the game’s new Steam page noted that the game will be “PC” based. With this announcement, Job Simulator: Human Relations will be the first ever Job Simulator game made for PC, as all previous Job Simulator games were VR based, so this is a nice surprise for PC favouring Job Simulator fans. Additionally, from Steam’s credits, Owlchemy labs seems to have partnered with FarBridge to develop the game, while both will publish the new game together. Job Simulator: Human Relations will be a “co-op” game, as Steam notes “up to four players” can play together, though players can still play individually. Its premise is to “simulate” the human work experience for computers, with hilarious consequences.

The Official Announcement Trailer starts with a picture of the game’s well beloved flying computer on a wall, as the audio tells a “human,” a customary introduction on their first day at work.  Next the trailer shows the “workplace,” which has a computer centered vending machine, a cubicle with a phone and empty cup as well as a printer with multiple books titled spam next to it. Then a kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave alongside a humorous don’t eat the microwave sign. A flying TV, who is the new ‘human worker’ comes dressed in glasses, a t-shirt and a tie. Its first action is to take a spam book to shred, while two other computers carry cables to plug in their computers, then, some computers carry vacuums around to suck in huge piles of spam books. The trailer then descends into chaos, as a computer shrinks another computer in what seems to be the shredder, the office floods and computers swim on the water, much of the whole office and one computer is set on fire as two other computers try to put out the fire. Unfortunately, the pseudo firefighters don’t succeed and computers move around while they’re actively on fire, and huge piles of books with nothing printed on them fill a part of the office. A computer moves towards the screen and the trailer ends. With no release date in sight, fans can wishlist Job Simulator: Human Relations as they wait for the wacky game to set sail.
