This Wednesday, PlayStation announced its January lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus members to start off the New Year. Prototype 2, Duck Tales Re-mastered, Infamous First Light, The Swapper, and Duke Nukem 3D: Megatron Edition will all be available at the PlayStation Store starting January 6th.
Infamous First Light follows the story of Fetch, from Infamous Second Son, battling her way through Seattle to reveal her tragic and dark past. She uses her special abilities to seek revenge and help escape from conduit prison. First Light is a must pick for this month’s selection, available only for PlayStation 4.
The Swapper is an award winning puzzle game set in a sci-fi world. Players will have the ability to swap bodies by cloning themselves to overcome the games many challenging environment. Swapper will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
Prototype 2, a sequel to the hit Prototype, takes you through the virus infected streets of New York City. Fighting your way as protagonist James Heller, experience the shape shifters battle to fight off the infected and evil Alex Mercer. This game will only be available on PlayStation 3.
Duck Tales Re-mastered is a wonderfully redefined 8-bit game that is sure to bring retro gamers a bit of beautiful nostalgia to their collection on PlayStation 3. Also coming to PlayStation 3 and PS Vita is Duke Nukem 3D: Megatron Edition. The enhanced game comes with three original expansion packs and original version of the game.
Another game that was announced in the January lineup but will not be released on the 6th is Whoa Dave! for PS Vita and PlayStation 4.
